Update: I have been told that the TNotifier app no longer authenticates. This seems to be due to the fact that the library I have used with Visual
Studio is now NOT working. Please bear with me with me will I investigate....
I have just finished the initial creation of an application to monitor my Twitter account for new updates. I already use the GMAIL Notifier app to keep an eye on my gmail account for new messages so I decided to write a similar application to notify me of new updates to my Twitter time line, and so far it's been very useful in letting me know when I get updates so I then only have to check Twitter when I need to.

This weekend I decided to investigate what was involved in creating a Facebook application, so after I had actually decided what to do I set about it and now have the first release of FollowMe. I decided that if I was going to do this it might as well be a bit of fun so I decided to try and incorporate Google Maps into it seeing as I have been looking into using the new Google Maps Flash API (and disappointed you cannot use it currently in an AIR desktop application - but thats another story).
